After decades as a guitarist and songwriter — including acclaimed album work with Free From Sin and Blacksmith — Patrik Lämborg now releases his long-awaited debut solo album, Pilgrim.
Pilgrim is a musical journey through emotion and craft, fusing hard rock power with blues depth. Each track represents a chapter in Patrik’s personal and musical evolution — from riff-driven openers, through meditative passages, to climactic guitar solos. The album pays tribute to his heroes Deep Purple, Rainbow, and UFO, while establishing a distinct voice of his own.

In true classic rock tradition, Pilgrim was recorded with an old-school studio mindset — capturing the band live in the room, prioritizing raw energy, performance dynamics, and a 70s-inspired analog sound over digital perfection.

Victor Brodén (Bass) — Swedish-born, LA-based bassist & musical director. Victor has worked with the likes of LeAnn Rimes, Richard Marx, Casting Crowns, Randy Houser, and Dokken. His playing gives Pilgrim its heartbeat — steady, bold and full of character.”
Fredrik Strömberg (Hammond) — A longtime collaborator from Free From Sin, Fredrik is credited as Hammond/keyboard player, adding depth, texture and vintage tone to the arrangements.
Bengan Andersson (Drums) — Based in Skara, Bengan has a long history as a freelance drummer (since 1983) and since 2007 also as a producer and studio engineer. Brings the 70s energy behind the drumkit, anchoring Pilgrim with percussive power that propels each song forward.
